Lois Shumaker, Root Cellar Sacramento Genealogical Society member, has a picture in her family albums that she cannot identify (imagine that! I don't know of anyone that has that problem)
While at the Allen County Public Library, the Genealogical Center....... I looked through a wonderful book that Lois had asked about. "Uniforms of the Prince Edward Island Militia, 1794-1873" What a wonderful book with all types of pictures of uniforms from Prince Edward Island. There were some small things that were on this uniform and in the book but not enough to say THIS IS IT.
So Lois asks, "Who is this spiffy couple that are all duded up for their photo! I
don't know who they are (probably Murrays in PEI), and who knows -- the guy may
be the mailman in his uniform!"
So I hope that people will look over this photo for ANY clues of year, and the uniform. HELP!
